What do families & students do when we arrive?

Arrival day for incoming Canadian students for the 2018 school year is Saturday, September 1st. Arriving on campus is as easy as 1-2-3:

Step 1:

Drive your car to the residence you are living in and drop off your items. Once you have unloaded your vehicle, a member of your party should then go find a parking spot on campus. Do not continue to move in your items with your car outside of your residence, as someone else will likely need that space to unload! Your residence room will be open when you arrive, and we will have volunteers on site ready to help!

Step 2:

Head down to the Fountain Learning Commons to get your access card programmed. This will allow you to then shut your residence room door and have access to get back in, as well as give you access to other areas on campus.

Step 3:

Check out the Students’ Union Building Information Centre (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) to learn about campus services.

If you ordered an ALL AXCESS Pack, pick it up there between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.

Once you have completed these 3 steps, view the Orientation Week schedule to plan your next move. The matriculation ceremony hosted here on arrival day afternoon is an amazing experience and is your official welcome to Acadia University. This is a must attend event!
